My passion for reproductive health, birth work, and advocacy began when I became a mother at 16 years old. My own birth experience is one I will never forget, not only because it was the day I met my son, but because of how deeply it shaped me. What was a traumatic experience ultimately became the fire that ignited my purpose and led me toward the work I do today.

My professional journey in healthcare began over a decade ago as a medical assistant and eventually led me into reproductive endocrinology and fertility care. For nearly a decade, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they navigate their paths to parenthood through fertility treatment, including ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, egg preservation, and frozen embryo transfer.

Today, I work as a Concierge IVF Nurse at a fertility center in Beverly Hills, providing highly individualized care and support to patients throughout their fertility journeys. I work closely with patients and their care teams to coordinate treatment, provide education and guidance, and offer a consistent point of contact throughout a process that can often feel complex, vulnerable, and deeply personal.

My work in fertility ultimately deepened my desire to understand and support the entire reproductive journey. I completed my initial doula training through DONA International and later continued with an immersive six-month doula training. I also pursued lactation education and began my Pathway 3 journey toward becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to support lactation education in Los Angeles and gain clinical experience within community-based women's health.

Midwifery has also been an important part of my journey. I have completed academic and clinical training in midwifery and am currently taking an intentional pause from clinical practice while continuing to grow within reproductive health, birth, and lactation. Midwifery remains deeply connected to the way I understand care: honoring the whole person, informed choice, autonomy, tradition, and the sacredness of pregnancy and birth.

I believe the journey into parenthood is sacred filled with joy, vulnerability, transformation, and immense strength. It is an honor to support individuals and families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives, whether they are navigating fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or feeding their babies.

As an Indigenous birth worker I am especially passionate about honoring the cultural values and ancestral traditions that have shaped me and weaving them thoughtfully into my offerings. My approach centers compassionate individualized care while respecting each family's unique needs, experiences, identities, and choices.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, on the ancestral lands of the Tongva people, as a first-generation daughter of a Guatemalan mother and Salvadoran father, with ancestral roots connected to the Maya people. I am a mother and birth worker whose life and work have been deeply shaped by motherhood, reproductive health, ancestral wisdom, and a calling to care for others.
